Mmmm… Blues and greens are the predominant colours in the central paua (abalone)feature of this brooch. 
I have woven dark blue (almost black) wire as a bezel and surrounded it with beautiful beads including freshwater pearls, Swarovski bicones, Czech firepolished faceted rounds, and wee flowers in rich blues, emerald greens, peridot, teal, olivine, and creamy white to further bring out the rich colours of the paua. 5.8cm x 3.8cm
