Mmmm… Blues and greens are the predominant colours in the central paua (abalone)feature of this brooch.  I have woven dark blue (almost black) wire as a bezel and surrounded it with beautiful beads including freshwater pearls, Swarovski bicones, and Czech firepolished faceted rounds  in rich blues, emerald greens, peridot, teal, olivine, and creamy white to further bring out the rich colours of the paua. 5.7cm x 4.8cm
